JUDGMENT
1. This petition, under Section 29A of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1994, seeks extension of time for the rendition of award by the learned Sole Arbitrator, arbitrating on the disputes between the parties.
2. Learned Counsel are ad idem that arguments have been concluded and the matter is at the stage of rendition of award. They also submit, jointly, that it would be in the fitness of things that the prayer for extension of time is granted, so that the award could be pronounced.
3. In view thereof, the prayer in the petition is allowed. The time available with the learned Sole Arbitrator for preparing and delivering 2020:DHC:2724 OMP (MISC.) (COMM.) 192/2020 the award, in the disputes between the parties, stands extended by a period of four months from today.
4. The petition alongwith the pending application stands allowed in the aforesaid terms.
