For the reasons stated in the application and in view of the present prevailing situation, the present application is allowed. However, the applicant is directed to file duly signed and affirmed affidavits within a period of one week from the date of resumption of regular functioning of the
Court.

1. This writ petition has been preferred with the following prayers:-
“I. Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other writ of like nature thereby passing order or direction to recruit faculty/medical staff at the Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (IHBAS)/Respondent No.4 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months.
II. Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other writ of like nature thereby passing order or direction to the respondents to redress the promotion related issues and other inconvenience faced by the doctors/faculty of IHBAS to curtail the increasing number of resignations of faculty numbers.
III. Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other writ of like nature thereby passing order or direction to the respondent no. 1 to tackle the shortage of medical officers/doctors in order to curtail the menace of rampant rise in the mental disorder conditions in the country more efficiently and effectively.
IV. Pass any other appropriate Order or Direction as this
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice for the disposal of this writ petition if the respondents are directed to treat this petition as a representation.
3. We have heard the learned counsel for the respondents. It is submitted by counsel for the respondents that recruitment notice has already issued for 45 posts which include the posts of Professors and other faculty members in Neurochemistry, Neuroradiology, Neurosurgery, etc.
4. Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case and large number of vacancies at the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), we direct the concerned respondent authorities to treat this writ petition as a representation and to look into the grievances ventilated by the petitioner in this petition in accordance with law, rules regulations and Government policies applicable to the facts of the case.
5. We expect that the concerned respondent authorities shall fill up the vacancies as early as possible and practicable.
6. With these observations, the petition is disposed of.
