JUDGMENT

2. The application is disposed of.

1. This is a petition under Section 29A(4) and (6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, for extension of the time 2020:DHC:2962 available with the learned Arbitral Tribunal, to conclude the proceedings and render its award.

2. Mr. Salman Q. Khan, Dy. Manager (Legal) of the respondent is present in the meeting and he does not oppose the request.

3. I am informed that the time available with the learned Arbitral Tribunal expired on 31st August, 2020.

4. Accordingly, the time within which the learned Arbitral Tribunal would conclude the proceedings and render the award thereon stands extended by six months from today.

5. The petition stands allowed and disposed of accordingly.
