JUDGMENT

1. As the reliefs in this petition are amenable to adjudication by the Central Administrative Tribunal[1] following the judgment of the Supreme Court in L. Chandra Kumar v UOI[2].

2. Mr. Rahul Malik seeks to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to move the Tribunal.

3. In order to avoid multiplicity of litigation and save time, we deem it appropriate to transfer this writ petition to the Central Administrative Tribunal. “the Tribunal”, hereinafter

4. The registry is directed to transmit the electronic record of this petition to the Tribunal as expeditiously as possible and positively within a week from today.

5. The Tribunal would proceed on the basis of the record of this writ petition after re-numbering it as an original application.

6. In order to expedite the matters, we direct the parties to appear before the concerned Bench in the Central Administrative Tribunal to be assigned by the Chairman on 21 November 2025.

7. The writ petition accordingly stands transferred to the Tribunal.
