ORDER
1. The order dated 18.10.2019 in W.P.(C) 12743/2018, has been complied with atlast and the permission has been granted.
2. However, for the delay, the respondent shall pay costs of Rs. 15,000/-. The money shall be deposited with Deputy Conservator ofForests(West),GNCTD,within a week,for planting 150 trees. 3. The monies so received by the DCF (West) shall be utilised by her/him for purchase of trees preferably from a government owned/run nursery for plantation oftrees in the Central Ridge.
4. Depending upon the soil type and topography, the DCF may consider planting the following variety oftrees:
(i) Dhau (ii) Hingot
(iii) Khair (iv) Kumttha
(v) Dhak (vi) Phulai
(vii) Kareel (viii) Salai
(ix) Kala siris/safed siris (x) Kaniar
(xi) Pilkhan (xii) Pisangan
(xiii) Amaltas (xiv) Chudail papdi
(xv) Ronjh (xvi) Bistendu
5. Each tree shall have a minimum of two-years' nursery-age and trunk height ofsix feet.
6. A compliance affidavit, along with photographs ofthe plantation, shall be filed both by the DCF and the respondents in four weeks. Copy ofthis order be served upon DCF(West),GNCTD.
7. Coordination in this regard may be done with Mr. Gautam Narayan, ASC, GNCTD, who has been assisting the court in plantation oftrees,upon costs being levied on parties.
8. The petitions stand disposed-offin terms ofthe above.
