05.09.2022 Learned Counsel for the Petitioner was fair enough in stating before this Court that the present Petitions were filed when COVID-19 pandemic was infecting large number ofcitizens including prison inmates. A prayer was made for vaccination ofall persons above 16 years.
Ms.Nandita Rao,learned ASC states that the vaccination programme is an ongoing programme, and anyone who is brought to the prison, is immediatelyvaccinated,ifhe is notso vaccinated. Shefurtherstates thatall inmates have been vaccinated as per the protocol.
At thisjuncture.Petitioner was fair enough in stating that the liberty be granted for withdrawal of the present Writ Petitions. The same are, accordingly,dismissed as withdrawn. .
