JUDGMENT

1. The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India read with Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS) seeking issuance of writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce the minor daughter of the petitioner before this Court.

2. Status report has been submitted by the learned Standing Counsel and the same is taken on record.

3. He submits that the missing girl has been successfully recovered on 25.11.2025 and her statement under Section 183 BNSS was also recorded. W.P.(CRL) 3889/2025

4. The missing girl has been produced in person by the State.

5. Upon being queried, she submits that she is around 16 years of age and has studied upto 8th standard. She submits that her mother’s name is Pinki (petitioner) and she wants to go with her mother.

6. Petitioner/mother also submits and expresses her willingness to take girl into her custody.

7. In view of aforesaid, the custody of the girl has been handed over to the petitioner/mother in Court today and no further order is required to be passed.

8. The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.

9. All pending applications, if any, also stands disposed of.
