HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SAURABH BANERJEE
JUDGMENT
1. Vide the Medical Report dated 22.04.2022 and Review Medical report dated 23.04.2022, the petitioner was declared ‘unfit’ on the ground of ‘left eye-convergent squint’ and ‘squint’ respectively in the medical examination conducted during the selection process of the ‘Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination 2020.’
2. Thereafter, the petitioner got himself examined at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS wherein vide report dated 27.06.2022, it was stated that he had ‘No squint’.
3. The petitioner then made a representation dated 01.07.2020 to the respondents, however, the same has not been decided by the respondents till Neutral Citation Number 2022/DHC/004371 W.P.(C) 13352/2022 date.
4. The fact remains that the respondents had completed the selection process and the final selection list was declared in the month of July, 2022, thus the present petition was belatedly filed in September, 2022.
5. It is to be noted that similar issue came before this court in W.P(C) 5847/2021 titled as Ashish Kumar Pandey Vs. Union of India & Ors and the same was dismissed vide order dated 04.06.2021.
4. In view of the above, we do not find any merit in the petition which is accordingly dismissed alongwith the pending application.
