1. Vide the present petition, petitioner prays as under: a. To direct the respondents to release the petitioner from services with immediate effect; b. To direct the respondents to sanction the applications dated 06.09.2022 and 12.10.2022 thereby releasing the petitioner with immediate effect; c. To allow the petitioner to file his nomination for the upcoming Panchayat Elections as per his request application dated 12.10.2022 seeking permission to file nomination, alternatively, grant permission to contest elections and if the petitioner wins the election to grant him release from service.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the aforesaid relief, the petitioner made representations dated 06.09.2022 and 12.10.2022 which are Annexures P-1 and P-6 respectively. However, the said representations have not been decided by the respondents till date.

3. In view of the reasons for urgency stated in the present petition and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, we hereby dispose of the present petition directing the respondents to take a decision on the aforementioned representations subject to completion of formalities, on or before 26.10.2022 and the decision taken thereon shall be communicated to the petitioner in writing on the same date.

4. Needless to state that if the petitioner is still aggrieved by the decision of the respondents, he may challenge the same before the appropriate forum.

5. In view of aforesaid directions, petition is disposed of.

6. Pending applications also stand disposed of.
