Present petition has been filed seeking directions to respondent no.2 to grant extension of time to the petitioner to join MD Paediatrics Course in Lady Hardinge Medical College and further direction to respondent no.3 to expedite the process of disposal of resignation application of the petitioner. 17:16 Neutral Citation Number: 2022/DHC/005099 W.P.(C) 16159/2022

4. Counsel for the petitioner submits that he sent resignation dated 08.10.2022, however, till date, respondents have not taken final decision on the said resignation.

5. Notice issued.

6. Mr.Jatin Singh, learned senior counsel appears on advance notice and submits that his resignation is under process and final decision shall be taken within 3-4 weeks from today.

7. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, we hereby dispose of the present petition by directing respondent no.3 to take final decision on the representation/resignation dated 08.10.2022 within two weeks from today and the decision of the same shall be communicated to the petitioner within two days thereafter.

8. Needless to state that petitioner is at liberty to make further request to respondent no.2 for extension of time.
