JUDGMENT

1. The hearing has been done through hybrid mode. CM APPL.5026/2026 in W.P.(C) 13487/2025

2. This is an application filed by the Customs Department seeking modification of the order dated 18th December, 2025 passed by this Court.

3. Mr Harpreet Singh, ld. Counsel for the Customs Department submits that paragraph no.2 of the said order dated 18th December, 2025 records that the weight of the gold seized is ‘approximately 200 grams’, whereas the actual weight of the gold seized is ‘approximately 233 grams’.

4. Accordingly, paragraph no.2 of order dated 18th December, 2025 is modified and the same shall now read as under: “2. This is a petition filed by the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, challenging the continued detention of two gold bars, collectively weighing approximately 233 grams which had been seized from the Petitioner by the Customs Department.”

5. This order shall be uploaded as a corrigendum to order dated 18th December, 2025.

6. The application is disposed of in above terms.
