1. Allowed, subject to just exceptions.

2. The application is disposed of.

3. Present petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondents to grant grade pay of Rs.10,000/- under DACP scheme.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the relief sought in the present petition, petitioner made applications dated 18.07.2022 and 12:06 Neutral Citation Number: 2023:DHC:2503-DB 29.08.2022 requesting the respondents to grant Grade Pay of Rs.10,000/under DACP scheme. In response thereto, respondents vide Letter dated 12.09.2022 informed that the case for grant of Grade Pay of Rs.10,000/under DACP scheme is under consideration with MHA. The progress in the case will be intimated on receipt of the same.

5. In view of above, we hereby dispose of the present petition by giving directions to the competent authority/respondent no.1 to take final reasoned decision on the applications of the petitioner within six weeks from today and the decision taken shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter.

6. Needless to say, if the petitioner feels aggrieved by the decision of the respondents, he may approach the appropriate forum.
