JUDGMENT
1. The present contempt petition has been filed alleging contempt of the order dated 20.12.2022 passed by this Court. By order dated Neutral Citation Number: 2023:DHC:3108 CONT.CAS(C) 20/2023 20.12.2022 this Court had passed status quo order with respect to the possession and construction in land in question. By way of the present contempt petition, it has been alleged that the respondent No.7, Delhi Jal Board (DJB) was laying water pipes at the behest of illegal encroachers, thus, there was contempt of the order passed by this Court.
2. Replies have been filed on behalf of the respondents, wherein it has been stated that the DJB has not put up any structure in the area and that the DJB was only installing the public hydrant temporarily for providing water for the residents living in that area. It is further pleaded that the DJB was only undertaking repairing activities on the road outside the land in question.
3. In view thereof, this Court finds that there is no contempt as such committed on behalf of the respondents.
4. With the aforesaid observations, the contempt petition is disposed of. MINI PUSHKARNA, J
