JUDGMENT
Exemption is allowed subject to all just exceptions.
Application stands disposed of.
1. Present petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.1023/2014 dated 13.12.2014 registered under Section 498A/406/34 IPC at PS Kanjhawala. Signing
2. The respondent no.2 was married to late Sh.Vikas on 13.12.2014. However, unfortunately Vikas @ Kala expired on 30.04.2015. However, before that some matrimonial disputes have arisen and respondent no.2 has filed the aforesaid FIR no.1023/2014 against the petitioner and her late husband.
3. Now the both the parties state that they have entered into a settlement on the intervention of well-wishers. The handwritten settlement has been placed on record, English translation of which is read as under: Today on 15.11.2017 us both parties have arrived to settle the matter. According to the terms of settlement Preeti D/o chatter Singh R/o Village Gutub Garh, Delhi 39 does not was action accused in case FIR No. 1023/2014 Police station Kanjhawala registered on her complaint. Because Vikas S/o Hawa Singh R/o Jatwara Sonepat has expired on 30.04.2015 to where Preeti was married. So we do not want any action against any one. Every case shall be withdrawn filed by Preeti and her family. Preeti and nay members of her family shall not make any claim. In future Preeti shall not initiate any kind of legal proceeding against her father in law, Mother in laws and any other member. And she shall not arise any claim in future.
4. IO has identified the parties.
5. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties FIR No.1023/2014 dated 13.12.2014 registered under Section 498A/406/34 IPC at PS Kanjhawala and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.
6. Petition stands disposed of.
