JUDGMENT
1. Vide the present Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner is seeking the following reliefs: “ (i) Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to fix the basic pay of the petitioner at par with his junior Sh. Shyam Sunder and consequently re-fix the pension of petitioner on said basis as also to make payment of arrears of basic pay and pension to the petitioner on said basis;
(ii) Pass any such other orders as it may deem fit to this Hon’ble Court in the facts and circumstances of the case.”
2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that for the reliefs sought in the present petition, the petitioner has already made two representations dated 16.08.2021 and 22.10.2021. However, till date the said representations of the petitioner are not decided by the respondents.
3. We hereby dispose of the present petition directing the respondents to W.P.(C) 7393/2023 decide the representations of the petitioner within four weeks from now with reasoned order and the decision so taken by the respondents shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter.
4. Needless to say that if the petitioner is still aggrieved, he may challenge the same before the appropriate forum.
5. The petition along with the pending application, if any, stands disposed of accordingly.
