1. Vide the present petition, the petitioner is seeking following relief: “a.) issue a Writ in the nature of mandamus or certiorari or such other appropriate writ or orders to the respondent No. 2 ITBP to decide the representation made by the petitioner dated 07.03.2023.”

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the relief sought in the present petition, the petitioner has made the Representation dated 07.03.2023 to the respondent No. 2/Director General, ITBP, however, till date, the said Representation dated 07.03.2023 has not yet been decided by the respondent No. 2/Director General ITBP.

3. Accordingly, we hereby dispose of the present petition directing the W.P.(C) 8373/2023 respondent No. 2/Director General, ITBP to take a final decision on the Representation dated 07.03.2023 of the petitioner within six weeks from today.

4. The decision, so taken, shall be communicated to the petitioner with a reasoned order within one thereafter.

5. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of.

6. Needless to state that if the petitioner is still aggrieved by the decision of the respondent No. 2/Director General, ITBP, he may challenge the same before the appropriate forum.
