JUDGMENT

1. After some hearing, Mr. Puneet Yadav, learned SPC, on instructions, submits that the respondents are willing to freshly assess the petitioner’s weight and determine whether he is overweight for recruitment to the post of Constable (GD).

2. Ms. Saahila Lamba, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the said statement, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed.

3. Accordingly, in view of the statement made by learned Counsel for the respondents, let the petitioner’s weight and BMI be reassessed on 3 December 2025 at 11 am at Group Centre, Rampur. W.P.(C) 18222/2025

4. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.

5. Ms. Lamba undertakes on behalf of her client that her client would be bound by the results of the fresh consideration, whichever way it goes.
