JUDGMENT

1. The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (“BNSS”) seeking directions in the nature of Habeas Corpus directing the respondent to produce the minor daughter of the petitioner before this Court.

2. Status report has been submitted during the course of proceeding by the learned Standing Counsel today and the same is taken on record.

3. Learned Standing Counsel submits that the girl has been recovered. It is submitted that she was produced before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) on 28/11/2025 and also on the same day, her statement under Section 183 BNSS has been recorded.

4. As per Status Report and her statement, the girl has voluntarily married W.P.(CRL) 3303/2025 but the documents reveals that she is a minor, her date of birth being 06/01/2009.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that since the missing girl has been recovered and while acknowledging the Status Report, he also does not wish to press the present petition any further, reserving his rights to avail any other remedy as available in law.

6. The present petition stands disposed of in aforesaid terms.

7. Pending application(s), if any, also stand(s) disposed of.
