JUDGMENT

1. This application has been filed by the respondent no.1 seeking correction of a typographical mistake in paragraph 20 of the judgment dated 23.08.2023 passed in the present appeal inasmuch as it directs the respondent no.1 to deposit the enhanced compensation amount of Rs.5,57,784/- alongwith interest with the learned Tribunal instead of Rs.2,47,968/-.

2. The learned counsel for the appellants/non-applicants, who appears on advance notice, does not oppose this application.

3. Accordingly, the paragraph 20 of the judgment dated 23.08.2023 is corrected and shall read as under:

“20. The respondent no.1 shall now deposit the enhanced compensation, that is, Rs.2,47,968/-, along with interest at the rate of 9% per annum with effect from the date of filing of the claim petition before the learned
Tribunal till the date of its deposit, within a period of six weeks from today. On such deposit, the learned Tribunal shall release the earlier awarded amount as also the enhanced amount to the Claimants in accordance with the schedule of disbursal prescribed by the learned Tribunal in the Impugned Award.”

4. The application is allowed in the above terms.

5. This order shall also be uploaded as a corrigendum of the judgment dated 23.08.2023.

6. The respondent no.1 shall make the deposit of the corrected amount along with interest with the learned Tribunal within a period of three weeks from today.
