1. The present petition under Section 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking following relief: - “a.) Quash the proceedings initiated by the Respondent under Section 12 read with Section 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 of the Domestic Violence Act pending adjudication before the learned Family Court in Guardianship Petition No. 24 of 2021 titled Kinri Dhir v. Veer Singh”.

3. Ms. Shivani Luthra, learned counsel for the respondent, accepts notice. Digitally CM(M) 1323/2023

4. We have heard learned counsels for the parties at some length.

5. Learned counsel on behalf of the respondent submits that she will move an appropriate application for amendment of the title of the case pending before the concerned Court. However, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner is at liberty to take all the objections before the learned Trial Court as have been taken before this Court.

6. In view of above, the present petition along with pending application is disposed of.

7. We hereby make it clear that the application which may be so moved on behalf of either party, the same shall be decided before proceeding further in the matter by the learned Principal Judge, Family Court.
