JUDGMENT

1. The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking issuance of direction in the nature of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce the minor daughter of the petitioner.

2. The brief facts of the case are that the petitioner had submitted that his minor daughter had been subjected to torture by Respondents No. 9 and 10, and despite his repeated approaches to P.S. Model Town, the police, initially, refused to take action even though complete details of the suspect had been provided. It is further stated that, though, FIR No. 434/2025 dated 09.08.2025 has been registered, the police has not taken any concrete step to trace out minor girl in question.

3. Mr. Sanjay Lao, learned Standing Counsel for the State, has sought permission to place on record latest Status Report.

5. As per said report, the missing child has also been recovered and her custody has been handed over to the parents.

6. The petitioner also acknowledges the above development and prays for no further relief, at the moment.

7. In view of the above, the petition stands disposed of as not pressed.
