JUDGMENT
1. This hearing has been conducted through hybrid mode.
2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, 1950 assailing the orders dated 27th January, 2018 and 25th August, 2018 passed by the trial court in PC bearing no. 18/2017.
3. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is pressing the petition only for waiving of cost of Rs.20,000/-, which was imposed on him vide order dated 25th August, 2018. It is further submitted that the matter is presently at the stage of final arguments before the trial court, and, therefore, the petitioner is not pressing the other reliefs sought in CM(M) 1332/2018 the petition.
4. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the Court may pass an appropriate order in this regard for the relief, as sought by the petitioner.
5. Learned counsel for the respondent further submits that the cost of Rs.20,000/- imposed upon the petitioner was subsequently reduced to Rs.15,000/-, by way of an adjustment, vide order dated 15th October, 2018, as costs of Rs.5,000/- were also imposed upon the respondents.
6. In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the petition is disposed of accordingly and the costs of Rs.15,000/- imposed upon the petitioner stands waived. All rights and contentions of the parties are left open. Pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
