1. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have already filed a statutory petition under Section 117(2) of the BSF Act, 1968, which is pending consideration before the competent authority.

2. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the statutory petition is under active consideration of the competent authority.

3. In view of the above, this petition is disposed of directing the competent authority to expeditiously decide the statutory petition filed W.P.(C) 13939/2023 by the petitioners.

4. Needless to state that it would be open to the petitioners to take their remedies in accordance with law in case they are aggrieved by any orders passed on the Statutory Petition.

5. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
