1. On May 11, 2023, the parties to this appeal were referred to the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre.

2. We note that the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre has filed a Settlement Agreement dated October 17, 2023 executed by Sunil Sirohi (appellant), Shashi Sirohi- wife of Sunil Sirohi (the sole respondent), Mikul Sirohi (son of Sunil Sirohi) running into 21 pages including Annexure-A which is a Gift Deed. Clause(s) of the Settlement Agreement reads as under: “The Parties agree that the Second Party is the mother and the natural guardian of the minor daughter Angel Sirohi. Her interest is in no way adverse to the Second Party and the Second Party shall seek permission of the Hon'ble Court to enter into the present Settlement Agreement under Order 32 of the CPC.”

3. The above term(s) is primarily because the daughter namely Angel MAT.APP.(F.C.) 79/2023 Page 2 Sirohi, is minor. The parties Sunil Sirohi, Ms. Sashi Sirohi for herself and on behalf of Angel Sirohi and Mikul Sirohi, who are present in person submit that they shall be bound by the terms of the settlement dated October 17, 2023. Their statement is taken on record. Noting their statement, the Settlement Agreement dated October 17, 2023 is taken on record.

4. At this stage, Mr. Anshu Mahajan, learned counsel appearing for the appellant and Mr. Shreyash Mehrotra, learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that this Court may grant permission to Shashi Sirohi to execute the Gift Deed, Annexure-A on behalf of the minor daughter Angel Sirohi.

Noting the fact that the parties have entered into a Settlement Agreement dated October 17, 2023 and also the fact that they have agreed to abide by the terms of the agreement, which we have taken on record, permission is granted to Sunil Sirohi to execute the Gift Deed annexed as Annexure-A at pages 11 to 21 of the Settlement Agreement.

6. In view of the above, the learned counsel appearing for the parties states, the appeal be treated as disposed of in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated October 17, 2023.

7. It is ordered accordingly. CM APPL. 14161/2023 Dismissed as infructuous.
