1. Learned senior counsel for appellant submits that pursuant to order dated 07.11.2023, two fixed deposits have been created in Indian Overseas Bank, Golf Links Branch on 11.12.2023 in the sum of Rs. 1.50 crores and 12.12.2023 in the sum of Rs. 1 crore for the period of 444 days each. He submits that the directions issued by the impugned order 06.10.2023 now stands complied with.

2. The photocopies of the deposit receipts No. 0977783 dated CONT.APP.(C) 55/2023 11.12.2022[3] in the sum of Rs. 1.50 crores and 09777786 dated 12.12.2023 in the sum of Rs. 1 crore in the name of M/s GEO JUTE LTD. (formerly known as JK JUTE MILL LTD.) have been produced in Court. Indian Overseas Bank is directed to secure the said amount and not release the amount or any interest accrued thereon except under orders passed by learned Single Judge in CONT.CAS(C) 147/2018.

3. The fixed deposits shall be kept in an auto renewal mode for the same period except otherwise directed by the said Court.

4. In view of the appellant having deposited the said amount, no further orders are called for in this appeal. The appeal is accordingly disposed of.

5. It is clarified that this Court has neither considered nor commented on the merits of the contentions of the either party. It would be open to learned single judge to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, without being influenced by anything stated herein above.

6. Copy of the order be forwarded to the Branch Manager, Indian Overseas Bank, Golf Link Branch for necessary compliance.

7. Order Dasti under the signatures of the Court Master.
