1. Status report has been filed by learned Addl. P.P. for the State. The same is taken on record.

2. Petitioner is the Aunt (Mausi) of the missing person, who is alleged to be missing since 16.10.2023.

3. A police officer contacted Vishnu (son of the petitioner and the cousin brother of the missing person) and recorded his statement on 19.10.2023 whereby he stated that though they had earlier lodged a DD Entry vide DD No.113A about his missing brother with the Police W.P.(CRL) 87/2024 Station, Mohan Garden, the said DD Entry be cancelled as his brother went missing from Village Kasan, Manesar, Haryana and they shall seek legal recourse before a competent Court situated at Manesar, Haryana.

4. As per status report also, the alleged missing person was lastly in Manesar from where he had sent photos even to the son of petitioner and told him that he had reached Manesar. Printouts of such photographs have also been annexed.

5. In view of the above, since the missing person has allegedly gone missing from Village Kasan, Manesar, which is in Haryana, therefore, we, hereby, dispose of the present writ petition by giving liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate petition, as per law, before the appropriate forum/Court at Haryana.
