HIGH COURT OF DELHI
W.P.(C) 16398/2023
VANSHIKA ..... Petitioner

JUDGMENT
1. While re-reading the judgment delivered in this matter yesterday, it was noticed that in para 5, it has been noted that the petitioner was issued an admit card on 10 October 2023 for the second semester examinations which were held in July 2023 and that she had paid the examination fees for the second semester examinations on 11 June 2023.
2. As these dates appeared to be incongruent, Mr. Prafulla, learned Counsel for the petitioner was asked to clarify on this aspect.
3. He submits that the dates of 10 October 2023 and 6 October 2023 in para 2.[3] of the writ petition are incorrect and that in fact the payment of examination fee for the second semester examinations was W.P.(C) 16398/2023 made in July 2023 and admit card was issued in the same month.
4. Accordingly, para 5 of the judgment shall read thus: “In July 2023, the petitioner deposited the fees of her second semester examination, consequent to which an admit card was issued to her by the DU enabling her to attempt the second semester examinations, in July 2023 itself. Accordingly, the petitioner undertook the second semester examination from 18 July 2023 onwards.”
5. This order shall be treated as a corrigendum to the judgment dated 19 February 2024.
6. It is made clear that the Petitioner’s right to undertake her third semester examinations would be subject to her satisfying the requisite attendance requirement as per the attendance register maintained by the college.
