1. Present petition has been filed by petitioner seeking following prayer:- “(a) It is therefore respectfully prayed to this Hon 'ble court be pleased to issue the writ of habeas corpus thereby commanding the respondent no. 2 & 3 to produce the wife of the petitioner namely Anchal Bhagat D/o Sh.Vindeshwari Bhagat before this Hon 'ble court and set her free from the illegal confinement of respondent no 4 to 7 in the interest of justice.”

2. Issue notice. Learned Standing for the State accepts notice on behalf of the State. He has produced the status report dated W.P.(CRL) 720/2024 01.03.2024. The same is taken on record.

3. Learned Standing counsel for the State submits that after investigation, the missing wife of the petitioner – Ms. Anchal Bhagat has been traced out.

4. Ms. Anchal Bhagat, wife of the petitioner, is present in Court in person and submits that she got married with the petitioner on 22.04.2024 at Arya Samaj Mandir, Malviya Nagar against the wishes of their parents. She further submits that she wants to go back to her husband/petitioner only.

5. Since the wife of the petitioner is adult and is married and has taken a decision to go back to her husband/petitioner, no further order is required to be passed in the present petition.

6. It is, however, also directed that the parents of the petitioner and his wife or their associates shall not indulge in any act resulting in any untoward incident and shall not create any hindrance in their matrimonial life.

7. Petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
