JUDGMENT

1. The petitioner is aggrieved in this case by Circulars dated 12 July 2022 and 2 February 2023, issued by the Directorate of Education (DoE) to the extent that the circulars required the children, who applied for admission under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS)/Disadvantaged Group (DG)/Children with Special Need (CWSN) categories in private unaided school to provide Aadhaar numbers of the child as well as of the parents.

2. Mr. Utkarsh Singh, learned Counsel for the DoE submits that the said requirement has subsequently been withdrawn.

3. As such, learned Counsel for the petitioner does not press this writ petition and the petition is disposed of, having been satisfied.
