1. The present petition has been filed by Ms. Sumayya Khatoon, Advocate under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950 read with Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking issuance of writ of habeas corpus to trace and produce Ms. “S”, age about 26-year-old, D/o Suresh, who is allegedly and illegally abducted by her family on 12.02.2024. W.P.(CRL) 872/2024

2. Ms. “S” had appeared in Court on 18.03.2024 ad apprised that she was living with her mother and brother.

3. Pursuant to order dated 18.03.2024, mother of Ms. “S” is present in Court. However, brother of Ms. “S” is not present. Mother of the Ms. “S” submits that they are not forcing her to do anything against her wish and she is free to take decision for her life.

4. Ms. “S” who is present in Court submits that everything is fine and settled and at present, she has no issues with her mother or brother.

5. In view of the above, no further order is required to be passed.

6. Petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
