1. The petitioner seeks grace marks in the compartment examination of Mathematics in Class IX so as to enable him to proceed to Class X in the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS).

2. Mr. Mishra, learned Counsel for the petitioner, submits that a representation dated 28 April 2024 has been addressed to the KVS and, for the present, this petition may be disposed of with a direction to the KVS to take a decision thereon within a time bound frame.

3. Mr. S. Rajappa, learned Counsel for the KVS, has no objection to this course of action. W.P.(C) 6203/2024

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the KVS to take a decision on the petitioner’s representation dated 28 April 2024 within two weeks from today, by a reasoned and speaking order, and communicate it to the petitioner forthwith.

5. Should the petitioner continue to remain aggrieved, his remedies in law shall remain reserved.
