1. There is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner when this matter is called out. However, learned Counsel for the petitioner was present yesterday and, on the basis of his submissions, this petition can be disposed of.

2. The only grievance of the petitioner in this case was that his result and mark-sheet for the B.Sc. course undertaken with the Respondent IGNOU has not been released to him.

3. The IGNOU has filed an affidavit in which it is stated that the result has been declared and the original mark-sheet and provisional degree of the petitioner have been forwarded to him.

4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted yesterday that the petitioner has not received his original mark-sheet and has only received a copy. He prayed that the respondent may be directed to provide the original mark-sheet and provisional degree.

5. Mr. Aly Mirza, learned Counsel for the IGNOU, submits that, as per his instructions, the original degree and mark-sheet have been sent by post to the petitioner. In the event that the originals have not been sent to the petitioner, he submits that he can collect the originals from the office of the IGNOU by contacting Mr. Vibhash Tripathy, hours.

6. In the event that the originals have already been sent to the petitioner, Mr. Mirza submits that the IGNOU would provide certified copies thereof.

7. In view of the said submission, the grievance in this petition does not survive for further consideration.

8. The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
