1. Present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking following prayer:-

“A. Issue Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the Respondent to produce the infant child before this Hon'ble Court from the illegal custody of unknown person(s) as soon as possible”

2. Learned APP submits that in the present case, FIR No. 498/2022 has been registered at PS GTB Enclave for the offence punishable under Section 363 IPC and the said FIR has already been transferred to the Crime Branch.

3. Petitioner is present and states that she is satisfied with the investigation being conducted. W.P.(CRL) 1785/2023 2

4. Accordingly, we hereby dispose of the present petition by directing the Crime Branch to file monthly status report, with an advance copy to the the petitioner, before the concerned Metropolitan Magistrate. If any clue is found about the missing new born baby of the petitioner, the same shall be communicated to the petitioner forthwith and the child be produced before the concerned Metropolitan Magistrate immediately.

5. With the directions as aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of.
