1. The matter has been taken up on mentioning.

2. Present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking following prayer:- “(a) Issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus against all the respondents, their servants, agents, nominees, assignees etc. asking for the production and freeing of Ms. Chandani and restoring her to her home. (b) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ or direction directing the concerned authorities to register lodge an FIR and the matter be investigated thoroughly and immediately;”

3. State has produced the Status Report dated 30.05.2024. The same is taken on record. W.P.(CRL) 1393/2024 2

4. It is stated in the status report that the daughter of petitioner knew Sanjeev and they both decided to get married and, therefore, she had left her house and eventually got married to Sanjeev on 24.02.2024.

5. Since the daughter of petitioner, who is present in Court, is, admittedly, major and has married as per her own wish and desire and has reiterated before us that she wants to stay with her husband, therefore, no further order is required to be passed in the present petition. She is thus, at liberty, to go with her husband.

6. The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.

7. The next date of 19.07.2024 stands cancelled.
