JUDGMENT

1. Learned Counsel for the parties ad idem agree the present writ petition may be disposed of in terms of prayer (b) which merely seeks a direction to Respondent to take a decision on the petitioner’s representation dated 7 April 2024.

2. Mr. V.S. R. Krishna, learned Counsel for the respondent undertakes that a decision on the representation would be taken within four weeks.

3. No extension of time shall be sought by the respondent.

4. The decision shall be communicated to the petitioner as soon as it is taken.

5. Should the petitioner continue to remain aggrieved, the right of AN HARI SHANKAR 00:23 Signing Date:04.06.2024 00:25 WP(C) 8315/2024 the petitioner in accordance with the law shall remain reserved.

6. The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
