CRL.M.A. 15534/2024 (under Section 482 Cr.P.C on behalf of the petitioners for Preponment/Early Hearing of the W.P.CRL.1428/2024)

1. An application has been filed on behalf of the petitioners for preponement of the present matter.

2. Learned APP for State submits that he has no objection if the matter is preponed.

3. The application is accordingly allowed and the matter is preponed.

4. A Criminal Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of Digitally India has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for directing the respondents to provide police protection to petitioner No.1 and 2.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner on being asked if he had approached the Witness Protection Committee headed by the Principle District & Sessions Judge of the concerned District, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition with liberty to approach the right Forum.

6. In view of the submissions made, the petition is permitted to be withdrawn to approach the appropriate Forum.

7. The petition is accordingly disposed of.
