JUDGMENT
1. Whether reporters of local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2. To be referred to the reporter or not?
3. Whether judgment should be reported in Digest? ORDER By this order I shall dispose of an application for suspension of sentence filed by the appellants/applicants. The appellants have been convicted by the trial Court under Section 307 IPC and under Arms Act and sentenced to undergo RI for three years. A perusal of judgment shows that multiple injuries were inflicted by the appellants on the person of the victims with knife without any provocation when the appellants came to know that the victims belonged to police. The injuries were opined by the doctors as grievous. Looking into the multiple injuries inflicted by the appellants and the fact that a deliberate attempt was made on the life of the victims, I do not consider it a fit case for suspension of sentence however, the case be fixed for hearing in the category of “Regular Matters” of persons in custody so that it is heard at an early date.
