01.11.2010 This petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No. 303/2007, P.S. Ambedkar
Nagaru/s 498-4/406t34IPC on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties through Mediation.
The complainant has settled the matter on receiving a lump-sum amount of Rs.
2,80,000/- from the accused out of which Rs.2,10,000/- has already been paid'
Remaining Rs. 70,000/- has been handed over to the complainant in the Court today itself in cash. The complainant has been identified by Ms Gita Dhingra, Advocate. He states that he does not want to prosecute the accused any further in view of the agree'ment. Parties state that they shall remain bound by their settlement. ln view of the above circumstances, this petition is allowed. FIR No. 30312007, p.S. Ambedkar Nagar u/s 498-fu406134IPC and all proceedings arising there from are tc hereby quashed.
