JUDGMENT

1. This is a petition under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (“the 1996 Act”) for extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal which was in seisin of the dispute between the parties.

2. The mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is stated to have expired on 15 March 2024.

3. Learned Counsel for the respondent has no objection to the request.

4. Accordingly, the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal shall O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 595/2024 stand extended by a period of one month from today.

5. The mandate shall be treated to be continuing since the date it expired.

6. The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
