JUDGMENT

1. Allowed, subject to all just exceptions.

2. The application is disposed of. O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 596/2024

3. This is a petition under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (“the 1996 Act”) for extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal presently in seisin of the dispute between the parties.

4. The mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is scheduled to be expired on 26 August 2024. O.M.P.(MISC.) (COMM.) 596/2024

5. Ms. Nidhi Raman, learned CGSC for the respondent has no objection.

6. Accordingly, the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal shall stand extended by a period of six months w.e.f. 26 August 2024.

7. The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
