ORDER
2. As per the contents of the FIR, respondent No.2/complainant alleged that her husband, respondent No.3 was engaged in business as a cable operator in the area of Sant Nagar, Burari, Delhi. On the date of the incident, i.e., on 03.04.2009 at CRL.M.C. 3179/2010 - •. 2010:DHC:9255 10:00 PM, she saw the petitioners attacking her husband, respondent No.3 with a sword and/or a sharp edged weapon in their hands. While respondent No.3 cried for help, the petitioners fled away from the scene on a two wheeler vehicle. Respondent No.2/complainant alleged that she saw the petitioners cutting the stomach of respondent No.3 and attacking him on the back of his head, thus grievously injuring him. Respondent No.2/complainant further alleged that the basis of the attack was a business rivalry between the parties. Counsel for the petitioners states that the parties have arrived at a settlement and therefore, the FIR may be quashed.
3. Having regard to the nature of the offence and in view of the fact that the allegation against the petitioners is that they attacked respondent No.3 with a sword and/or a sharp edged weapon, attempting to kill him, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present petition. The same is dismissed. f- DECEMBER 14,2010 rkb HIIVIA KOHLI,J
