JUDGMENT

3. This is a petition under Section 29A (4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996[1] for extension of the mandate of the arbitrator in seisin of the dispute between the parties. “the 1996 Act” hereinafter

4. It is stated that the mandate of the learned arbitrator is due to expire on 28 August 2024.

5. Extension of four months is sought.

6. Learned Counsel for the respondent has no objection.

7. Accordingly, the mandate of the learned arbitrator, in seisin of the dispute between the parties, has been extended by four months w.e.f. 28 August 2024.

8. The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
