JUDGMENT

1. This is a petition under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996[1] for extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal presently in seisin of the disputes between the parties.

2. It is stated that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is expiring on 8 September 2024.

3. Learned Counsel for the respondent has no objection to extension of the mandate, as sought.

4. Accordingly, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal stands extended by nine months with effect from 8 September 2024. “the 1996 Act” hereinafter OMP(MISC)(COMM) 646/2024

5. The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
