JUDGMENT

1. This is a petition under Section 29A(4) and 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996[1] for extension of the mandate of the arbitrator in seisin of the dispute between the parties.

2. It is stated that the mandate of the learned arbitrator had expired on 30 August 2024.

3. The learned Counsel for the respondent has no objection.

4. Accordingly, the mandate of the learned arbitrator stands extended by six months from 30 August 2024. “the 1996 Act”, hereinafter OMP(MISC.)(COMM.) 664/2024

5. The petition stands allowed in the aforesaid terms.
