JUDGMENT
1. The present petition was filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking quashing of order dated 21.11.2005 passed by the learned District & Sessions Judge vide which the case titled ‘Prateek Puri vs. TB Gupta’ was transferred from the Court of Sh. Sandeep Yadav, Metropolitan Magistrate, Tis CRL.M.C. 64/2006 Hazari, Delhi to the Court of Sh. SK Sharma, Metropolitan Magistrate, Patiala House, New Delhi.
2. This matter was tagged along with a batch of petitions wherein proceedings arising out of four FIRs, registered against the VLS Finance Ltd. and its Directors etc., had been challenged by the accused persons. This batch of petitions was heard together by this Court and reserved for orders.
3. In the present case, however, there has been no appearance by any counsel on behalf of the petitioner for, at least, last two years, i.e. since this Bench has been hearing these matters. The petitioner has also never appeared in person. In some of the order sheets, the appearance of counsels who were arguing in other cases has been inadvertently marked in the present case.
4. However, it is a matter of record that no arguments have been addressed on behalf of the petitioner in the present case nor have any written submissions been filed on behalf of the petitioner.
5. Therefore, it seems that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the present matter.
6. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed in default for non-prosecution.
7. The judgment be uploaded on the website forthwith.
