JUDGMENT

1. This is a joint petition under Section 29A(4) and 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996[1] for extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator, who was in seisin of the dispute between the parties.

2. The mandate of the learned arbitrator is stated to have expired on 15 August 2024.

3. Learned Counsel for the respondent has no objection.

4. Accordingly, the mandate of the learned Arbitrator stands “the 1996 Act”, hereinafter OMP(MISC)(COMM) 680/2024 extended by one year from today.

5. The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
