JUDGMENT

1. This is a petition under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996[1] for extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator, who was in seisin of the dispute between the parties.

2. The mandate of the learned arbitrator is stated to have expired on 31 August 2024.

3. Learned Counsel for the respondent has no objection.

4. Accordingly, the mandate of the learned Arbitrator stands extended for a period of three months. “the 1996 Act”, hereinafter OMP(MISC)(COMM) 706/2024

5. The petition stands disposed of, in the aforesaid terms.
