JUDGMENT

1. This is a petition under Section 29A (4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996[1] for extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal, who was in seisin of the dispute between the parties.

2. The mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is stated to have expired on 31 August 2024.

3. Learned Counsel for the respondent has no objection.

4. Accordingly, the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal “the 1996 Act”, hereinafter OMP(MISC)(COMM) 705/2024 stands extended till 31 December 2024.

5. The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
