1. This is a petition under Section 29A (4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996[1], for extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal, presently in seisin of the dispute between the parties.

2. The mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is stated to be expiring on 4 October 2024.

3. Learned Counsel for the respondent has no objection. “the 1996 Act”, hereinafter OMP(MISC)(COMM) 741/2024

4. Accordingly, the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal stands extended by one year from 4 October 2024.

5. The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
