2011:DHC:11279 v have been placed on record. Respondent No. 2 states that she has no objection in case FIR in question is quashed.
Keeping in mind the fact that parties have settled their matter amicably before the Mediation Center, inasmuch as they have obtained a decree of divorce by mutual consent, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. In the larger interest, FIR No. 19112009 under Sections 498-
AI406 I34 IPC and 3 I4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 registered at
Police Station Welcome Colony and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
